It was in March of this year that Japan shocked the whole world, literally, with the lifechanging earthquake they had to deal with. Pharell Williams (N.E.R.D. frontman) is going to pay a visit, in a cooperation with Palladium, to his so-called ‘second home’: Tokyo. He surveys the aftereffects of this disaster by examining young locals and artists in their processes of grief but positivism at the same time. I love the fact that they managed to cope with the problems they have by turning them into something good, something that is really inspiring (at least to me it is).
A less serious, but very practical side to the project is that, to cope with Tokyo’s underground settings, Pharrell Williams wears Palladium boots from their new Waterproof and WOOL lined collection, inspired by authentic aviator/bomber jackets, so warmth and comfort guaranteed.
