HAPPY THOUGHTS III

HAPPY THOUGHTS III

In this third article for the Happy Thoughts section I’m going to give you guys the occasional update of random things that make me happy. Because you know.. they’re happy thoughts for a reason. This can be anything, literally anything, from personal stuff to something that caught my eye on the news, to new collections or whatsoever. Moving on with the following:

1. The new year just started.

A new year to me always feels like a slate that’s completely wiped clean, which also means: lots of opportunities ahead. I’m planning on doing lots of nice things for the blog, an awesome and busy week is coming up work-wise as well, and this week my boyfriend and I planned and booked our first trip of this year for the first week of February: Copenhagen, city of my dreams, again.

2. Dr. Martens’ Valentine Collection

Ok, let me explain. I’m not a big fan of prints, hearts, bright red or Valentine’s Day stuff hitting the stores as soon as the new year starts.. But I AM a huge Dr. Martens fan and a sucker for quirkiness and can’t really explain why these shoes made me smile as much as I did, but I just love them to bits. I could see myself wearing these with a pair of black trousers and a plain white shirt, just to add some fun to a rather serious outfit. Too cool for school.

3. I’m starting to get back into my work-out routine.

I know it’s only the 6th of January today, so we can’t really speak of sticking to new year’s resolutions, but I’m so so SO excited about getting back to the gym again. I signed up for all kinds of classes (had my first TRX training this week, added cardio, want lo start doing some more lifting, etc.). Besides that I’m very excited about the fact that I’m going to start kickboxing again next week. So hell yeah, I already feel like I’m back on track. Also, I’m thinking about adding some sport related articles on the blog every now and then. No #fitgirl post showing off abs, but just some tips, inspirational stuff, personal experiences.. let me know if that’s something you’d like to see included in the comment section below :)

  • Hi Debbie.

    Liefs Marlon

  • Do you mind if I quote a few of your posts as long as I provide credit and sources back to your webpage? My blog is in the very same area of interest as yours and my visitors would definitely benefit from some of the information you provide here. Please let me know if this okay with you. Cheers!
