PERSONAL: NEW HAIR
Ph. Lennart Groot
New year, new haircut, right? Not what I was thinking, since I planned on visiting the hairdressers for weeks already, but still.. I’ve never cut (or let it cut;)) my hair this short, and actually.. I like the result, yay!
WHAT TO DO?
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had loooong hair. A few months ago I cut it in a – at least it was for me – very short cut. A sort longer version of a bobline (remember?). I really liked it and haven’t regret it for even a single second. But now I wanted to schedule an appointment at the hairdresser’s, I’m starting to feel doubt. Do I really want to cut it again (okay, at least the split ends need to be cut)? I’d love to have a cut like this, but I love to wear my hair up as well, which is hardly possible with the shorter hair.. Tell me what you think? Going shorter or let it grow longer again? Or do you have some completely different ideas? I’d love hear your opinion!
BEAUTY: INGLOT
I’m not going to lie: as much as I’m into fashion, I’m completely clueless regarding make-up and beauty. Ofcourse, I do wash my hair and never leave the house without a dab of mascara here and there. Even my eye-liner became a part of my daily make-up routine but that’s all! That’s why I was so pleased to hear that Inglot wanted to welcome me at their store in Amsterdam for a quick starterscourse ;)
The Inglot Company was established 25 years ago. The maingoal of the company is to produce high quality products, while still being affordable. They bring the latest trends in colour, texture and form to the market, and they created some quite innovative products as well (like a whole line for the darker skin and for extra sensitive skins). I’m convinced!
What do you see?
1. Pencils, the sight of them all together made me greedy
2. Me and my make-upartist for the day ;): Saray (still not so used to not wearing my eyeliner!)
3 & 4. I want, I want, I want!
5. The result: I was very pleased that Saray made a very soft and subtle everyday-look, because I always tend to grab something black (or at least dark-coloured). I particularly liked the effort that was made for my skin; it looked absolutely perfect, hope I’ll manage to recreate this look.
6. Better picture of the skin, I loved the natural glow on the cheekbones.
