EVENT: NICOLIEN LAUNCH

This week I attended the launch party of Nicolien‘s bags in the Westcord Fashion Hotel (where else?). Nicolien has a passion for leather and a talent for forms and colours. With her bag collection, Nicolien provides pure handmade and one of a kind bags. Every bag is unique because of their colours and different kinds of leather. As you might know already, I’m a big fan of well-made leather bags myself and I loved the ones Nicolien showed us. I particularly liked the big dark green one (see pics above, it’s the same one as the one I showed above in tan), and the cute little wallets. We had a great time, great bubbles and Nicolien herself seemed to be such a nice and warm person herself. Stay tuned for more here.
TEST: SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 10.1

Last week I tested the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Samsung newest tablet and I have to start with this: I loved it! I’ve been opting for a tablet for a while now, but I really can’t decide. An iPad seemed reasonable, because it looks like everyone own one, but is that really a reason to get one too? Nope, not at all. I was very pleased I got the chance to review this piece by Samsung, and I almost considered not returning it.. Okay, kidding. Not kidding.
Well, let’s start with some details: this tab really gives its user a great experience with the thinnest and lightest screen I’ve ever seen (it weighs no more than 565 grams and is 8.6mm slim.. just saying ;)). The tab has a highdefinition screen, which especially stood out while watching pictures and reading blogs (because I most of the time ‘read’ blogs with lots of gorgeous pictures). I was pretty amazed by the fact that it worked so easily (I already used an Android phone before, this tab turned out to function the same way my phone did, since this tab runs on Android too). Due to the double camera on the tab, you can easily take pictures while on the run ánd make video calls with your loved ones. The possibilities of customizing the whole interface of the tablet really attracted me, as well as the options for all kinds of social media did.
As you can see, I’m very enthusiastic about this tablet (and honestly.. it’s pretty in white, right?) and I really consider getting me one. Funny fact: the tab fits in my Frenchonista Charlotte clutch exactly, so yet another reason to get me one :p
