NEW IN: ACCESSORIES

May 13th, 2012 - 9 Comments »

Ph. me.

An easy way to update every wardrobe is to add some bold statement pieces. Accessorizing, that it! Above you can an amazing black set I received from In My Dresser (you’ve already seen me wearing it here). I love the bold black necklace because of the statement it makes without being too out-there. The skull-ring is just amazing, and really matches my new gunmetal Michael Kors watch. Next is a rose-gold bracelet from Blingissimo, such a great staple piece to team with my rose-gold Michael Kors watch and to create a happy arm-party ;) The white pointy shoes from Mango, you might have seen me wearing them here (doubted about returning them for almost an month but started wearing them anyway.. love them now!). Then a bright coloured statement necklace from H&M (great piece!) and a superdupercool embellished clutch I got a the New Look event a couple of weeks ago. Can’t wait to start wearing it!

NEW IN: MICHAEL KORS

Ph. me

Those who follow me on Twitter or Instagram might have already seen that I bought something Michael Kors.. Most of you guessed it were shoes (oh well..), but that’s not the case this time.. What to do when the two watches you’ve craving for for quite some time just happen to pass for a very (and when I say very, I mean VERY) good price..? Right, you do the math..

This week I was invited by Maasmechelen Village, one of the Collection of nine Chic Outlet Shopping Villages, operated by Value Retail, a company dedicated to creating and operating luxury outlet shopping villages. With brands like Michael Kors, Escada, Liu Jo, Levi’s, Diesel and Hugo Boss – to name a few- I think they really succeeded.

This shoppingspree it was all about accessory-shopping, so that’s just what I did! I couldn’t believe the exact two watches I wanted for a while now (but couldn’t decide which one I liked best), were staring at me, screaming my name.. Okay, slightly blown out of proportion, but still. I love the almost black colour of the with the studs/stones, but I adore the two-toned version with lighter gunmetal and gold as well.. Thank you, Maasmechelen Village – and especially Loes – for inviting me and for welcoming me so kindly.

Watches – Michael Kors

Love them as much as I do? Get them here too!

NEW IN: RUNNINGSHOES

April 19th, 2012 - 5 Comments »

Ph. me

Those who follow me on Twitter, might have found out that I, since a few weeks, started running. I received some questions through e-mail what kind of clothes I wear and what shoes I use while running. I have to admit: as much as I love fashion, I couldn’t care less about my looks when I workout. I go kickboxing in my bf’s large tee, and used to go running in some sloppy old pants and my bf’s hoodie. Till last week, when I experience some serious Nike Free running ;)

When SKECHERS contacted me about doing a review on their SKECHERS GORun runningshoes I immediately thought of the Skechers we used to wear in primary school; the ones with the big-ass soles.. But the new Skechers really surprised me! I think, for running shoes, these are quite elegant! These shoes are designed to give the runner a more natural experience and allows me to go running on practically any kind of surface (which is kinda cool, since I live in a city, but love to go running in the dunes at my bf’s place too!). I already tried them and they really feel like walking on bare feet. Quite an experience, altough I have to admit I really need to get used to this type of running.
