Oh how I love re-inventing old pieces in the back of my closet! This army jacket was one of my showpieces about 6 years ago (wore them with colourful sneakers and a baseballcap, shhh don’t tell anyone ;)) and then disappeared to the back of my closet. The shorts used to be my favourites a couple of years ago as well. Thought I lost them somehow, but found them again while doing my springcleaning, hurray! Kind of a dark outfit (I’d rather wear this outfit with bare legs, but unfortunately the Dutch weather doesn’t allow me to.. so I spiced things up a little by adding a bold neon necklace. Like?

PS: We got a little distracted by this gray little fellow. Too cute..

This week I attended the launch party of Nicolien‘s bags in the Westcord Fashion Hotel (where else?). Nicolien has a passion for leather and a talent for forms and colours. With her bag collection, Nicolien provides pure handmade and one of a kind bags. Every bag is unique because of their colours and different kinds of leather. As you might know already, I’m a big fan of well-made leather bags myself and I loved the ones Nicolien showed us. I particularly liked the big dark green one (see pics above, it’s the same one as the one I showed above in tan), and the cute little wallets. We had a great time, great bubbles and Nicolien herself seemed to be such a nice and warm person herself. Stay tuned for more here.

During my spring cleaning (I’m sorting out my wardrobe since there might be a chance I’m – finally – going to move in a couple of months) I found this leather jacket I completely forgot about! I got it for my birhtday several years ago, and I still remember the feeling it gave me when I unwrapped the package ;) I have to admit: I think the back is a bit short for me, since I’m a taller girl, but paired with a top in a softer shade as well, I think I can still wear my old love. And I can’t believe my IM Dicker boots are not showing up on my blog that much, since I wear them a lot. Have a nice day!

With all the pastels and neons popping out everywhere, I tend to grab my alltime favourite: black. Looks like I’m not the only one who still loves to wear black in spring. Don’t get me wrong, I love to use lighter colours as well, but black in my opinion never gets boring. I particularly like the way different textures look in black, as you can see on the pictures above (leather, jeans, (faux-)fur, cottons). Which one is your fave?

 Uggs for every occasion! You might have never seen me wearing Uggs on my blog before, but truth is that I do own a couple of them. These cute Mini Bailey Buttons in a light colour really matched the laid-back feeling of this sunny sunday when my dad and I took some shots at different locations.. What do you think?
