Nostalgia. A wistful desire to return in thought or in fact to a former time in one’s life, to one’s home or homeland, or to one’s family and friends; a sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time. It happens to me […]
Hurray, it’s Monday! Which means a fresh new start of the week, new opportunities and.. a new outfit. Literally, because my entire outfit is new (except for the bag, that’s an oldie). To celebrate Fashionchick’s Shopping Days (on October 29th and 30th), I picked up […]
Adding army green and a rusty red tone to the wardrobe didn’t turn out to be as shocking as I expected. As you know, 99% of my wardrobe is either black, white, or the occasional navy, and warm hues usually are no where to be found. Until I added this burgundy number a little while ago (looove!) and even went for some brown (shocker number 2!) later on. I kind of like how the warm tones of these typical fall colours compliment my super icy hair, but then again: I love a good contrast and this contrast couldn’t be much more clear. This is one of the looks I was wearing in collaboration with Fashionchick for their ‘Elke dag een look’ (A look every day) campaign: a series of short videos hosted on Dutch tv channel Net 5. These pics were taken by Marie Wanders.

Read: cobble stones. Cobble stones and heels are my no means best friends, and that’s what I experienced once again when I was wearing these black lace-up beauties. But hey, at least they were pretty, and that was all that matters at that moment anyway. That, and spending time with my love. Cheesy? Yup.
