A little while ago we visited Berlin for a short and sweet city trip. even though I’ve been to Berlin a couple of times already, I always enjoy the versatility of this city. Very fascinating to experience how divided Berlin has been (and somehow still […]
With Fall being just around the corner, I can’t help but – besides the feeling of still longing for hot Summer days – to already get excited for the Fall/Winter collections to hit the stores. It doesn’t need any explanation I’m a sucker for shoes, and a cool pair of ankle boots always does the trick for me. I can already wear them when the weather still allows me to go out with bare legs, but they always pair super well with a pair of leather skinnies too. Chunky knits on top (my winter uniform) and I’m good to go.
About these boots: I’m slowly but certainly falling for green-ish hues. I already saw lots and lots of cool knits and blouses at COS (loved their entire collection btw, it’s like they heared my prayers and dropped it all in one collection, so thanks COS, for making sure I’ll be broke for the rest of the winter ;)). They pair super well with almost everything in my current wardrobe (read: black, grey, white..) but spice up my not-so-colourful outfits instantly. Off-duty attire, gotta love it. This time I decided to take my rust-coloured sleeveles coat out for a spin and took my new chelsea boots to go along with it. Not something I usually wear (I mean: no black?), but defenitely something I feel completely at ease in. Brought the white dress with me to Barcelona as well, where my love and I are spending some time, stretching Summer and enjoying each others’ company. These pics were taken in Amsterdam though, so now Spanish back drops, but I’m sure I’ll be able to post some Barcelona pics later on.
Off to do some sight seeing for today. So tell me, yay or nay for the suede ankle boots? And how about the rest of the outfit? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Outfits that feel like you’re wearing your pj’s the entire day, sound like a dream to me, and I have to admit that comfort is something I’m always looking for in an outfit. Does that mean I always want to look like I’m wearing my pj’s all the time? Certainly not! Au contraire, but I’m a firm believer of feel-good-to-look-good. That’s why I’m wearing these wooly (and long enough, yes!) trousers with my current favourite pair of boots, that long tee I’ve been living in (I stocked up on this one 3 times, shhh don’t tell anyone) and that fluffy cardigan that keeps me warm on slightly colder days. Added a chic touch to the outfit with that gorgeous leater Rabeanco bag (told you about their new store already, right? Check it out). Again, a perfectly sized, smooth leather bag that totally ticked all the boxes of what I’m looking for.
