THAT TRENCH

THAT TRENCH

One of the benefits of the weather changing from super sunny to well.. slightly less sunny: being able to wear the trenchcoat that has been hanging in your closet for a while. Yay! I love pairing a bit of an effortless chiq classic – like […]

ALL SMILES

ALL SMILES

All smiles, because it’s a new week full of opportunities – ok, and because these pics were taken when I was still in Copenhagen, find out all about my tips for this wonderful city here – and appointments. I know many people might be frightened […]

COMFY IN COPENHAGEN

COMFY IN COPENHAGEN

Waking up in Copenhagen. I could get used to that. I don’t mind the cold. I don’t mind the shorter days (it does get dark a bit earlier than in my hometown ;)). I even don’t mind the wind (and if you know me, you know how much I dislike wind in Amsterdam). Dressed in probably one of the comfiest outfits I own – a huuuge knitted sweater, slightly loose fitted jeans and flat boots – I feel like I can easily conquer it all.

COPENHAGEN PART II

COPENHAGEN PART II

While in Amsterdam I mostly avoid the super touristic areas, in Copenhagen I’m very pleased to stay just around the corner of one of the post visited parts of the city: Nyhavn. Walking around this city is one of the things I like to do […]

6 THINGS I LEARNED STYLE-WISE

6 THINGS I LEARNED STYLE-WISE

NOTTING HILL

NOTTING HILL

Spending a weekend in London means: an endless list of things I want to do and see, but end up doing lots of other stuff than I had planned for. Ah well, when visiting cities abroad I always like to just go with the flow. And that’s exactly what I did. One of the things I like to do best is strolling around the very different neighbourhoods this awesome city has to offer, and obviously Notting Hill is one of them.

Notting Hill is famous for its many cool restaurants, shops and markets. Also for its posh galleries, cute little (and not so little..) coloured houses and of course its like-named movie. We managed to snap some quick shots of what I was wearing that day. Nothing too fancy, just casual and comfy, just the way I like it when I’m walking around all day. Expect a larger London post up on the blog later on this week.

FASHIONCHICK SHOOT PART 3

FASHIONCHICK SHOOT PART 3

Look at those leaves! We (read: Marie Wanders) took these shots for the Fashionchick collab a little while ago. The city is so so so pretty when these fall colours are popping up everywhere. A great reason to take out my (t)rusty oversized coat – […]

OUTFIT: 270715

Ph. Shirley  Annnd we’re back to sweater-and-boots weather again! Not that I really mind wearing all black again, and I’ve never regretted wearing chunky boots – not even when Summer’s in full swing – but hey.. At the end of July it would have been […]
