It’s a funny thing: taste. Taste in food. Taste in interior. In people. In art. In friends. But also: in style. If you would have told me a year ago that I’d be wearing a light blue double denim ensemble, without any black (those shades […]
I honestly cannot believe it’s mid October and we were still able to enjoy the sunny weather this weekend like Fall/Winter is not around the corner (today’s is pretty cold actually, but let’s not go into details too much ;)). These pics were taken a bit earlier though, but that doesn’t make them any less fun: it’s me, wearing polkadots (!) and ruffles (!), two things I usually tend to avoid.
In general, I’ve noticed that I’m gravitating towards slightly more feminine shapes lately. As much as I love my ripped jeans/chunky knits/bulky shoes combo, I’m no longer shying away from trying different silhouettes any longer. Which is nice, but also makes me question my current wardrobe more and more (we all know that ‘I’ve got nothing to wear’ feeling, right)? I’m usually pretty ok with my wardrobe and the choices I make: I’m completely fine with not being the most notable out of the bunch and love my understated colour palette. But I do think I’m ready to try something new (says the girl who just ordered 3 pairs of uber basics jeans: black, grey and dark blue, I kid you not: the were necessary, I promise). So I’m curious: what do you think I should add to update my wardrobe instantly, but stay true to my style anyway?
One of the things I do best: digital window shopping on Sundays. So why not spread the love and show my findings on the blog?
This time I’m highlighting this awesome pair of sunnies. As soon as Spring starts I’m already starting to create a wishlist of what kinds of things I’d like to add to my wardrobe for the fresh new season to start. Sunnies are always on the list, but instead of going for my usual suspects – I tend to grab a trusty pair of Ray Bans every time again – I laid my eyes on this tortoise piece of gorgeousness by Karen Walker. I would love to try it on before ordering, but there’s only so many places in the Netherlands where they sell this brand. Maybe I should just give them a go? What do you think?

Ph. Lennart Groot This lovely sunny weather requires nothing more (okay, maybe a bikini.. need to start that horrible search as soon as possible..) than an awesome pair of new sunnies. Preferably this retro-cool pair of Clubmasters in gold and silver toned aluminium, which […]
