I absolutely love love LOVE sunny Sundays, especially when well spent with my love. Even though I – again! – turned out to be dressed way too warm for this day, I’m still so happy I grabbed this enormous coat as soon as I got the chance when I was in London (my size was already gone in Amsterdam) and snatched that too gorgeous knit out of a sale rack the other day. Score! Off to another very busy week – what else is new? – full of work, training, a flashtrip to London.. Will keep you posted through Instagram, are you following @sffte yet?

TGIF! While I’m typing this, I’m already making plans for the weekend. A well deserved weekend if I may say so, since the passed few weeks have been busier than ever. Not complaining though, it’s actually something that makes me function as well as possible. One thing that comes with being to busy: the messy hair. When you see me walking around with my hair in a low bun, you know I’ve been too busy to give it a proper treatment ;)

For now: almost weekend! What are your plans?

Layering up in grandpa-ish layers on this drowsy day at work. Wearing some old faves like these not-so-black-anymore-skinnies, trashed boots and very old coat, because well.. do we really need an excuse to wear your favourite pieces over and over again?

Colour! For as long as I can remember, I’ve been sort of avoiding bright colours on my wardrobe, except for the occasional blue boot or bright sneaker. Not because I don’t like colours in particular, I just think almost everything looks better in black. Now that I gathered quite the collection of black and grey coats already, this new green (huge!) fella was a very welcome to the evergrowing coat family in my wardrobe.

It’s no secret that – besides coats – I’m really into shoes as well. I love them. In all sorts and shapes. But that doesn’t mean I’m not picky when it comes to finding the right footwear. So that’s why it took my quite some time before I finally found the perfect pair of pointy loafers. The ones I found were either too pointy, too unforcomtable or too elegant. Too elegant you say? Yup. Shoes can bee too elegant for me. Recognize that?

Anyway, I bumped into this awesome Zign collection over here and clicked home the perfect black and white point loafers I was looking for. Like them too? Lucky you, because SFFTE x Zign are giving you the chance to win a pair of these too.

See the awesome video Zign created together with British photographer and co-founder of the Buffalo Movement Jamie Morgan and topmodels Zlata Mangafic and Leebo Freemann in the monumental Olympic pool in Berlin. Gotta love these iconic black and white shots from the campaign, go see for yourself.
