An easy outfit for a day full of shopping in a city that isn’t my own. Such a fun thing to do: pick a city in your own country and discover the city by doing some serious shopping, sip on multiple coffees in different coffeebars, have lunch at a cute little place in between.. Me and my friend Sieta chose the city of Den Haag (The Hague) this time and ended up having an amazing and satifying day in the oldest shoppingmall of our country.. which will be complemented by a huge shoppingarea soon (think: large retailers like River Island, Primark, etc), so it looks like I defenitely need to get back as soon as the whole area is ready.
About the outfit: I was wearing one of my too-easy-to-throw-on leather jacket (slightly oversized fit, that’s why), dressy-trousers-in-a-not-so-dressy-way and my current faves: those kicks and that bag. What do you wear on a shoppingtrip? Or do you ever explore cities in your own country? Any tips?
I spent the weekend in Copenhagen, as you might have seen on Instagram already. More about the trip later, but here’s what I was wearing. Casual, simple, and: blue? I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of boyfriendjeans – I love them to have a bit of an odd fit – but never managed to find one that was either long enough or one with the fit I was looking for. Till I discovered this one from MiH during their pressdays in Amsterdam last month. I haven’t been wearing such bright blue jeans for a while, but I can make sure from now on I will.
When I wear a dress, I always tend to cheat a little.. Like this time: this dress has more resemblance with an enourmous tee than it has with an actual dress, so that’s why I allowed myself to wear it with sneakers, just like I allow myself to wear sneakers on every occasion. Topped things off with my silk coat – froze my ass off – and that new bag that hasn’t left my arm from the moment I got it, and I was good to go. A new start of the week, make it a good one!

Loose fits in monochromatic (non-)colours. My current faves. I feel like wrapping myself in wide legged trousers, paired with a perfect white tee. And sneakers, always sneakers, or the occasional loafer or slipper. They both work so well with the wider trousers! Gotta find a way to ‘chique’ this look up a bit, because as much as I like casual outfits, I don’t want to look like a thirteen year old boy in his PJ’s ;)
