Talking sneakers. One of the things my sneakerfriend Sanne a.k.a Girlonkicks and I have in common (besides being equally nerdy, and equally tall. No that’s a lie. She’s taller, pictures are proof) and one of the things we do best. Since Sanne launched her new and improved blog for the sneakerminded chick out there ánd interviewed yours truly as a kick off for her new ‘Talk Sneakers With Me’ section, I just wanted to show you a small selection of the shoot we did that day. Of course you can read the entire interview (and about the weird habit around my shoe size..) here.
Our latest London look. Oh Gosh, I wish we could have stayed a little while longer and could have done some more shoots. Anyway, here’s what I was wearing on our last day. We wandered around our wonderful neighbourhood a bit, , drank some coffee at the local coffee bar, checked out Portobello Road market, which was just around the corner, but we didn’t have the time to enjoy it until a few hours before we left.

Oh how I wish I was living in a city like London, especially in this pretty neighbourhood we stayed in. We could literally use every streetcorner as a backdrop for an outfitpost, so we decided to not make it harder than we had to and shot my outfit for that day just around the corner of our hotel (The New Linden Hotel btw, perfect location, just around the corner of Portobello Road market, close to Hyde Park / Kensington Gardens and walking distance from a few different metro stations. Wonderful!).
You’re eyes aren’t fooling you, I’m actually wearing a bright colour. Bright red sneakers. Probably some of the comfiest pairs I ever owned, and true conversations starters I might say. I can’t even remember how many random strangers on the streets kept me to a halt and asked where I found those red beauties. Kinda cool, even though it almost made me shy a bit. About the rest of the outfit: nothing you haven’t seen before, but that’s how I like it: I actually wear my clothes more than once, and these are some faves I just had to bring on our hectic but equally awesome trip.
Today is my bf’s b-day, he’s celebrating his 28th birthday. Congrats Handsome, I love you more than pizza ;)

Btw, I can’t stand the fact that my pics turned out to be so pixelated, must have gone something wrong with uploading it in wordpress :( Will try to fix it asap.
A very simple outfit for today, but one I could literally wear everyday. I just love me a good white tee and will never get bored of black skinny jeans. Replace the shoes by heels or (preferrably..) sneakers. Add a leather jacket or a smart blazer and I’m good to go. Wore this extremely basic ensemble while strolling around our temporary neighbourhood in London. Oh London, wish we could have stayed a little while longer.
